In celebration of International Women’s Day, JCI Abuja Unity, in collaboration with SAM Empowerment Foundation, successfully carried out the Pad a Girl Child Outreach, impacting over 500 women and girls across JSS Gwarimpa and the Kaura IDP Settlement in Abuja.

Through this initiative, we provided sanitary pads, shared important conversations on menstrual hygiene, dignity, confidence, and respect, and reminded every girl that her dreams should never be limited by lack of access to basic necessities.
We are proud that this impactful outreach received media coverage from AIT News and has also been featured across five blog platforms, amplifying the message of dignity and empowerment for the girl child.
This initiative is a shining example of what we represent as Jaycees—young active citizens committed to creating sustainable impact, empowering communities, and leading positive change.
