Day 1 at GBEDEGU ’26 🎉
The JCI Nigeria Northern Conference kicked off in Abuja, hosted by JCI Abuja Unity under the theme “Build Forward: Youth, Vision, and the New North.
”Day 1 opened with a skills development training session, followed by a board meeting to align leadership ahead of the days to come. As evening set in, we welcomed arriving guests with dinner, before the energy shifted to Elite Night at Jonny’s Lounge, Area 11 a relaxed, celebratory start to the conference.
By the end of Day 1, registration was already off to a strong start, with delegates and supporting partners streaming in from across the region a clear sign of the momentum building toward an unforgettable few days
Throwback to GBEDEGU ’26 Day 2🎉
It was an honor hosting the JCI Nigeria Northern Conference as 2026 Local Organisation President of JCI Abuja Unity. Themed “Build Forward: Youth, Vision, and the New North,” the conference brought together 200 delegates and partners for three days of learning, connection, and celebration.
JCI Abuja Unity closed the conference with 4 awards, including the Leadership Award presented to the LO President a proud moment for our entire chapter.
None of this would have been possible without our sponsors, senators, volunteers, and delegates, whose support and dedication carried this vision forward. This is what building forward looks like.
